The Treasurer is
custodian of county money. Primary responsibilities are to collect
taxes and invest monies received to generate more operating revenues.
Tax sales are held by the County Treasurer for real estate. Also,
collection agencies collect delinquent personal property and mobile home
taxes to help maintain cash flow.
