Presently all 911 dispatchers in
Putnam County are required to have the following as their training standard:

Indiana Law Enforcement Academy
Police dispatching certification.

Medical Priority "Emergency
Medical Dispatch".

American Heart Association CPR
Certification.

"MABAS" (Mutual Aid Box Alarm
System) Fire Dispatching Techniques.

Indiana State Police
"Indiana Data and Communications System" computer training.
